Hey Cord, it's so nice to see that you're all caught up, it took Me a while, but I'm all caught up again too. I'm back in Canada again just touring Manitoba for now. I already took My trusty Loonie to see which direction I'll be headed in the fall and it looks like I'll be wintering next season in California. I too wish they would show these kids instead of just talking about them or mentioning them from time to time. It was nice that they finally showed Johnny and Connor the other day which was nice to see. Conner looked rather pissed that Johnny was advancing faster than he was with Lucy. I guess they both like her, lol. You never see Christian at all, just the odd time Nick mentions him. Poor kid is being raised by the Nanny instead of his (eh-hem) father!
Oh, that's so nice PMH, I'm sure you'll make the right choice :) I spent My first year of retirement in South Carolina in 2019 and actually purchased My RV in Myrtle Beach SC for the winter of 2020. It was just the beginning of the pandemic, but I made the best of it. I spent My 2nd winter in Texas, 3rd winter in Florida, and this past winter in Yuma Arizona. This coming winter I'll be wintering around Winterhaven California (Southeastern Arizona) on BLM Land. I'll only be about a half hour from Yuma Arizona and 10 minutes from Los Alcadones Mexico. It will be worth the drive to get groceries and such due to the fact that everything is so expensive in California compared to Arizona, plus dental and prescriptions are amazing priced in Mexico. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer...Thank you bob for everything you do for us on this blog!
Cathy, it is very exciting to hear about all the places you have been to and what your plans are for the future. As for me, I prefer the east coast. Love the change of seasons and, like you say, California is just way too expensive. California is my destiny, like it or not. It is just a question of when I will make the permanent move. I'm just procrastinating. Keep us posted on your adventures!
Yes, I also love the seasons on the East Coast PMH which is something the west coast doesn't seem to have. Fortunately here in Canada we have different seasons, especially the further east you go. In regards to settling on the east or west coast, just follow your heart, gut instincts, and intuitions PMH and you'll make the right decision. :)
Cathy - ITA about Christian. Nick mentions him every now and then, he hasn't been shown in a very, very long time. I think it was back when Connor was living with Christian, Nick and Chelsea and Connor was acting out because his bio dad (Adam) had left Genoa City. Connor bullied Christian and one of the things he did was lock Christian in the garage. Connor eventually admitted it and apologized to Christian.
Thank you Cord, being a retired fulltime RVer is a good lifestyle since we live on the second biggest land mass is the world...there is just so much to see and do in both Canada and the United States. And My little jaunts to Mexico is just the additional icing on the cake!!! I certainly remember that incident between Christian and Connor as he said he was sorry. But I also wondered how sorry he really was, because he said he was sorry with his head tilted down and his eyes looking up angrily, and pouting like he was forced to say sorry, but not really meaning that he was sorry. Oh well, they are both older now, so who knows. But what I do know is that Nick is either at Newman Enterprises, at Society, the Athletic Club, bedding Sally, or at Crimson Lights with Sharon. So My question is...how does he spend any time with Christian?
Hmm ... I'm very glad the the Phyllis story line is going to end soon. As for the one with Cameron, well, I guess since I have no prior familiarity with his and Sharon's story line, I need to give their current one some time as it evolves.
It was a long, but exciting storyline Cord. I thought I remembered it well, but by watching the flashbacks, I can see that there are a few scenes I evidently forgot, but quickly remembered them. I'm glad this "Phyllis faking her death" is finally coming to an end. Just seeing Victor comment about who does that and puts their family through hell, lol, I yelled at the screen...You did Victor!!! Talk about calling the Kettle Black!!!
Phyllis, if any one compares the pain and suffering you did to Diane is truly Mistaken. Phyllis, you are a poor excuse for a role model to your children, you know you are lying to them about your part to set Diane up for your Death. lol, yup, totally agree with you Betty, Cord, and Isabella. lol, I wonder what the writers were thinking when they wrote that line for Kyle...hahaha. Kyle standing there tearing a new one for Phylis, then saying he'll never forgive Phyllis for faking her death and putting her kids through that. The twisted thing about that is his Mother whom he has TOTALLY forgiven left him for years when he was a young child, not even ONCE contacting him with at least birthday or Christmas card. She waited until he was a grown ass man, already married 3 times, and with a child of his own! So it's pretty obvious that the only reason she really returned was to benefit herself because Diane certainly has an agenda!!!

Or else, why would the writers even bother to introduce a cat into the mix out of nowhere unless they are setting it up for a story line befitting of how far Cameron will go? So, it's just My suspicion, but I sure hope I'm wrong!

However, Diane is somehow forgetting one thing, Ashley has Tucker in her arsenal who can be just as smart, devious, and downright dangerous as Diane if push comes to shove. So I too can't wait to see Ashley be given the opportunity to say " Well Jackie, I told you so!" once he finally opens his eyes and sees Diane for who she really is!
Yes, Susan and Linden are amazing actors and such a solid real life power couple. I never watched Loving, but I had read somewhere that they acted together on another soap as cousins, and now 37 years later, they have 2 children and are still happily married which is rather rare in the entertainment business. Yes, I totally agree that they are superbly bringing it! I didn't know that Linden has directed a few lifetime movies, I'm sure they are great. I do know that Susan has made some good movies too, as well as a Christmas movie, was twice on Seinfeld, and played Pricilla so precisely in Elvis and Me. Pricilla Presley said on a talk show that it was amazing how well she was portrayed by Susan Walters because she actually felt that she was watching herself on the screen! So, like I said earlier, I don't like Diane or her sneaky devious ways, not to mention how easily she can play the victim with her claws out. Susan is definitely doing her job as an actor for Me to feel the way that I do about her Character Diane. I can still remember Linden as Cameron in the past here on Y&R and he knocked it out of the park, because I was so glad when Nick took him out and he was taken away by the police! If memory serves correct, I was jumping up and down with excitement and cheering at the TV screen, lol
I love Tucker! He steals the scenes he's in. The actor has marvelous comedic timing. I literally lol'd watching the scenes right after Tucker moved into the Abbott house. It was morning, Tucker had bed head and was in his robe, he came out of the kitchen with a tray that had a coffee pot and a mug on it and offered some to Jack! Hilarious. 😁😂🤣
OMGosh, yes, that was friggin hilarious Cord! Tucker always seems to chime in with such small inserted lines and steels the scene, he totally makes Me laugh. Another one of My favorites is when Jack was furious and looking for Ashley. When Ashley finally arrives Jack asked Tucker to leave and he just sat back and said, "Nah, I'm good!" Or when he and Ashley were having after sex dinner. Tucker answers Ashley with "after just having mind blowing sex, I'm in my happy place" I totally cracked up and almost spit out My coffee, hahahaha
Summer, Summer, Summer -- I couldn't believe the way she was Daniel, her brother, kicking him out of Phyllis's GCAC suite, getting rid of him by making him wait outside the door so she could talk with *their* mother privately. All of this, after Daniel covered for Summer by saying that he was the first person to see Phyllis alive.
Yeah Cord, that was pretty cold of Summer to treat Danial, her older brother the way that she did in regard to their Mother Phyllis. He only said that he saw Phyllis first in order to protect Summer and her marriage. But he did that only so he could do the right thing and tell the truth that Phyllis was alive. He could have easily just said that Summer had confided to him that she'd seen their mother. So I wouldn't say that he is still lying, he's just trying to do the right thing, because of the way he is pushing Summer to tell Kyle the truth.
I don't mind Kyle, it's Summer who I can't stand. So melodramatic and over the top. I don't like this recast. Hunter King/ex-Hunter would have nailed it in this storyline. jmho
Summer, Ashley, Nicki, and all you that compare Diane to Phyllis history, Diane past does not compare to Phyliis past has a lying, evil, Manipulated person that caused pain and suffering to Michael, Jack, Christine, Daniel Sr., Daniel Jr. Biological father, (that she lied to and told him Daniel was Daniel Sr son, why knowing she gave Daniel Sr. A date rape drug). Also, LIED to Daniel Sr. He is Daniel Father . The truth finally came out and Daniel Sr. Accepted Daniel has his son. Afterwards, Phyllis tried to Murder Christine that was Married to Daniel by running her over with her car, and kidnapped Michael by locking him in her trunk of her car. Diane, NEVER did half of the Crimes Phyllis Comitted!!!
I like Tucker, because he in so many words are saying Marriage , because he is Smart enough to not be used by Ashley. Tucker, no Ashley has no RIGHT to JUDGE Diane or no one else, after she STOLE VICTOR SPERM and had it IMPLANTED in her, Abby is a child from Ashley Deceit!!

ReplyDeleteI love Tucker! He steals the scenes he's in. The actor has marvelous comedic timing. I literally lol'd watching the scenes right after Tucker moved into the Abbott house. It was morning, Tucker had bed head and was in his robe, he came out of the kitchen with a tray that had a coffee pot and a mug on it and offered some to Jack! Hilarious. 😁😂🤣
ReplyDeleteOMGosh, yes, that was friggin hilarious Cord! Tucker always seems to chime in with such small inserted lines and steels the scene, he totally makes Me laugh. Another one of My favorites is when Jack was furious and looking for Ashley. When Ashley finally arrives Jack asked Tucker to leave and he just sat back and said, "Nah, I'm good!" Or when he and Ashley were having after sex dinner. Tucker answers Ashley with "after just having mind blowing sex, I'm in my happy place" I totally cracked up and almost spit out My coffee, hahahaha
DeleteSummer, Summer, Summer -- I couldn't believe the way she was Daniel, her brother, kicking him out of Phyllis's GCAC suite, getting rid of him by making him wait outside the door so she could talk with *their* mother privately. All of this, after Daniel covered for Summer by saying that he was the first person to see Phyllis alive.

DeleteYeah Cord, that was pretty cold of Summer to treat Danial, her older brother the way that she did in regard to their Mother Phyllis. He only said that he saw Phyllis first in order to protect Summer and her marriage. But he did that only so he could do the right thing and tell the truth that Phyllis was alive. He could have easily just said that Summer had confided to him that she'd seen their mother. So I wouldn't say that he is still lying, he's just trying to do the right thing, because of the way he is pushing Summer to tell Kyle the truth.

Daniel Sr. He is Daniel Father . The truth finally came out and Daniel Sr. Accepted Daniel has his son. Afterwards, Phyllis tried to Murder Christine that was Married to Daniel by running her over with her car, and kidnapped Michael by locking him in her trunk of her car. Diane, NEVER did half of the Crimes Phyllis Comitted!!!
Phyllis, DESERVES to spend some time in Jail, if not for Stark Death, but all the CRIMES she got away with in the past!!!!

ReplyDeleteI like Tucker, because he in so many words are saying Marriage , because he is Smart enough to not be used by Ashley. Tucker, no Ashley has no RIGHT to JUDGE Diane or no one else, after she STOLE VICTOR SPERM and had it IMPLANTED in her, Abby is a child from Ashley Deceit!!
