I don't condone anyone for faking there death but Diane did the same thing and for a lot longer then what Phyliss did. So many of them did it. Yet When Diane came back all was fine. I cant wait for this to be over and move on to something else.

Yeah, this is a senseless storyline @Isabella, can't wait for it to be over as well. Diane left her small son to grieve for FOR YEARS, then comes back when he is all grown up and a man. Yet she never faced the music, and instead Diane is not only right where she was before her supposed death, but is in an even better position before she faked her death. So, she is not only forgiven by everyone, but Jack is marrying the Woman that broke his sons heart, and defending her to everyone. lol, only in the soaps! But I'm with you, it would have been a snoozefest had Diane been in Genoa City for the last 20 years.

It is actually because Diane waited for years that she wasn't charged with it, I believe, but Phyllis can not do the same she has people that actually loves her and would fight for her but obviously she'll get away with it just like Victor or anyone that belongs to the Genoa City gang would.

In any event, I was referring to all of the people who's lives were affected (other than Kyle) because they were either charged with murder, or were suspects in Diane's supposed death. Yet Diane was in jail, sweating it out, knowing that she didn't commit the crime of Phyllis's murder, then at least could be under house arrest with an ankle bracelet. However, Diane did the exact thing and thought nothing of it. At least Phyllis realized how her supposed death was affecting her kids and decided not to go through with it. Diane on the other hand stayed away for 20 years, reinvented herself as Diane Jenkins, all the while Kyle was grieving! People are pissed (or will be pissed when they find out) at Phyllis for pulling this latest stunt, but, you're right Ni klaus, they love Phyllis and will eventually not only fight for her, but will also forgiver her, which Diane's family has also done.
Cathy's, I think what you and many people don't realise is that Diane's leaving Kyle with the abbots which is a loving and wealthy family is far better than her raising him, it is easy to blame her for leaving him but what kind of life would have Kyle had with that Tara's lookalike version of Diane? The truth is Kyle was better off without the person Diane was back then whereas Phyllis has grown up kids that spent all their lives loving her regardless of all her evil deeds, aside from it and has friends, so we may beg to differ on the subject but I am convinced Diane staying back then would have hurt Kyle more.

No @capri, you're misinterpreting the whole meaning of this blog! I just watch the show and comment about the storylines with other passionate loyal Y&R viewers who also chime in. We may not always agree, but we all love this show (I know I do) Often, I get behind because I'm retired and travel in My RV as a Canadian snowbird back and forth from the 🇺🇸 to 🇨🇦 every winter so I get busy with My own life. Ever see one of those big RVs towing a car behind on the highway? Well I'm one of them! We live on the 2nd largest land mass in the world, and there is so much to see and do! however, eventually I always try to catch up with My beloved Y&R that I've been watching since the 70s and bob makes that possible, so thank you Bob. So Capri, I in no way take Y&R as reality and know that these are just characters played by actors to entertain us. Perhaps some of us are more passionate about the show than others, but at the end of the day, we are thankful for the site and for bob who makes it possible to watch Y&R at our leisure, not having to watch it at say 4pm Monday to Friday or miss the episode entirely. So again, thank you Bob for all that you do I certainly appreciate you!
I'm gonna start my contribution by saying that I LOVE, both Diane and Phyllis. That being said, Phyllis was not manipulated by Stark, cause I do recall her standing up to him about not getting involved, then going back to say she was "in" after something she didn't like. Also, throughout their plan, she wasn't some subservient lackey, she insisted to him many times that she knew what she was doing, she even boasted to him about avoiding jail time for many of her deeds. Phyllis was NOT manipulated. Ontop of that, persons are saying Diane did the same thing, suffered no consequences, so Phyllis shouldn't either, only difference is, PHYLLIS was shouting the loudest about how deceitful Diane was for doing what she did, and went and did the very same thing, in my book, that makes Phyllis WORST. Ontop of that, Diane didnt kill anyone, self defense or otherwise, Phyllis would not have had to defend herself from Stark if she hadn't gotten involved with their deceit plan in the first place. Oh and Summer, she has as much brain cells as a grain of rice!!!
I do agree that Phyllis was not manipulated by Stark to go along with his plan. She was looking for revenge on Diane, but it was self defense when she murdered him and people can get off for murder when it is self defense. I love the Phyllis character so I hope she doesn't end up in jail. She spices things up, but I wish she had never gone along with Stark in the first place and then she wouldn't be in this position with Christine now gunning for her.
Betty I agree, I love the Phyliss. I have a feeling Phyliss will figure out some way to get out of everything I mean it wouldn't be Phyliss other wise.

She brought Stark into GC and has the nerve to do the same thing to her children and friends, that Diane did... She couldn't stand the thought of losing Jack to Diane even though she broke his heart with Nick and Billy. I say throw Phyllis to the wolves. She has clned her daughter that she loves so much. I hope Diane is free from the charges, it is one thing to fake your Death, but it is Another thing to try to Murder someone like Phyllis did to Christine, By running her over with her CAR. Self Defense Stark came after Phyliss first with the scissors. So technically yes she killed Him but in self dense and as for Diane she has already stated she wish she would of killed Phyliss....
Lol, Christine just defined the entire Soap. Big fishes expecting others to be condemned for their crimes but when they themselves commit crimes they expect to get away with it, so far Diane is the only outsider that somehow avoid Prison and everyone hates her for that. But we all know Phyllis is getting away with that crime too, it will all fall on Stark.
