It seems like it was .. I dont think Sharon & Nick should keep repeating the past.. Espically if Nick kept on cheating. I can understand why Sharon doesn't want a complete connection with Nick .. Hes not her true love ..
I think the dream sequence was to show Sharon she cares for Chance more than she realizes, so I hope they stay together. Seeing Chance with Summer seemed strange. They didn't seem to make a good pair. They seemed weird together to me. Maybe their over the top behavior was due to the dream sequence.
It's obvious that they want to pair Nick and Sharon again, that's what they always do. All they did was to lead them there, they put Sharon and Adam again only to close the chapter forever, Sharon is over him. They put Nick and Sally together to see Adam fighting for her so it'll be clear for us that SHE is the woman he loves. And all the scenes between Nick and Sharon was to show us how they are "great" together. Chance is a yound dad, Sharon is a grandma, their relationship only seemed to be a bandage, she lost Ray and he lost Abby. She is honest with him and that's a great thing, she's not trapping him.
And worst horror TV series goes to The Young And The Restless.
